Hotel Location/Reservation Information

The conference theme is “Built on Adventure, Facing the Future”, co-hosted and planned by the counties of El Dorado, Nevada and Placer. The conference will be held at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel located at 4130 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. The hotel is South Lake Tahoe’s only all-suite lodging option consisting of comfortable two-room suite, free daily breakfast buffet, and a nightly happy hour with 2 complimentary drinks (if booked under CACEO; coupons provided), children 17 and under stay for free.  The hotel is located at the base of Heavenly Mountain Resort and moments from world-class gaming, golf, shopping, hiking, biking, entertainment and lake activities, as well as the largest alpine Lake in North America; deep and wide, bluer than blue and surrounded by the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains…Lake Tahoe.   This is also the week of the 2017 American Century Celebrity Golf Championship.

Our group rate is King @ $159 M-Thu; $239 F-Sat; Double Queens @ $179 M-Thu; $259 F-Sat. Group rates are offered 3 days pre/post conference, based on availability. Resort Fee is waived if booked under CACEO (request removal from bill upon check out). 

Reservations can be made online at www.tahoeresorthotel.com, Group Code: CACEO or by calling the hotel directly at 530-544-5400, Group Code: CACEO. 

Reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.   Cancellations must be received 48 hours prior to the day of arrival.  Check-in time is 4:30 PM; check-out time 12 noon.

Note:  If you are unable to use your room reservations please do not cancel directly with the hotel.  Doing so then puts that room back into general inventory and is no longer available at the contracted group rate.  Please email Conference Coordinator who will transfer the reservation to another attendee as needed.  If you are unable to secure a room at the group rate, email Conference Coordinator to get on a waiting list for any transfers that become available.  Conference Coordinator gives no guarantee that a group rate room will become available so it is necessary to have a “Plan B” back-up as well. 

Parking:   Valet Parking available at $19 per day.

Directions: Getting to South Lake Tahoe by car is a relatively short drive from Sacramento CA or Reno Nevada.  The drive from either airport promises beautiful scenery along the way.  Check google maps for directions.  You can fly into Sacramento International Airport or Reno/Tahoe International Airport to get to Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel.  Transportation via rental car or the South Lake Tahoe Airporter provides non-stop service from Reno/Tahoe International Airport to South Lake Tahoe, with 11 regular departures daily  Reservations can be made on line at southtahoeairporter.com or 1-866-898-2463; $53 round trip.
