Future of Voting Systems Roadmap - this is the product of a three month's of research and conversation with a diverse group of people and organizations who are concerned about the future of elections in California. 

Thank you to the James Irvine Foundation for taking the initiative to convene these meetings to examine California’s election system and identify future opportunities to increase voter engagement and participation. A special thank you to Catherine Hazelton, Doug Chapin, Malka Kopell and Amy Dominquez-Arms of the Irvine Foundation for coordinating the meetings and preparing the final document.

This is just the beginning of a conversation that will continue among California's election state and local election officials, state and federal lawmakers, and will likely serve as a model for other states to follow as well.
